Welcome to Sunday Scarps, where creative thinkers, art collectors (even if it's just in your imagination), and art lovers find inspiration, advice, and access to exclusive curated art drops with extra special giveaways just for you, as a paid member.
Every Sunday, you'll get behind-the-scenes creative inspiration, prompts, book and book recommendations. Giveaways will happen monthly, sometimes more.
Every Thursday, you’ll receive inspiration from the Over_Under project. The Over-Under project provides education about the fashion industry, actionable prompts, creative projects, and guidebooks.

I'm Amber, the founder and real live person behind each publication and the artists behind the work. I'm a former high school art teacher turned director of product, with a few steps in between. I've been teaching art, making art, and studying creativity since 2004, and starting showing and selling my work in 2009 when I thought I might not want to be a public school teacher for the rest of my life as I had initially planned. While I left my high school teaching job in 2015, I continued to work in education, teaching all levels through graduate students, online and in person, and made and sold my art in galleries, at shows, and online. I work full-time creating educational products, and Sunday Scarps was born out of a desperate need to find ways to step away from the computer and create in small windows of time.
The key to becoming what you want is to take consistent action. Sunday Scraps is here to help you break through your creative blocks and fill your home with objects you love.

I’m so glad that you’re part of the Over_Under project, helping to keep 5,000 t-shirts out of landfills by the end of 2026.
How you can help:
Become a paid subscriber
Send me your unwanted T-shirts
Use the instructions and guide books, provided in weekly post through the Over_Under Project to build community, and help keep textiles out of landfills. PS: be sure to tell me how many T-Shirts, you transform so that I can add your name and number to our collective effort.
Share the project with others. Education transforms how we view and respond to the materials around us.
