  1. Learn how to break down your editing process

  2. Commit to asking other people to review your book

  3. Learn how to update your book in the event you publish with an error

  4. Review helpful resources for your editing process

Editor: You’ll work with the editor often throughout the publishing process. Even if you are a good editor, you should still have other people read your book before publishing.

  • Review the book 3-5 times for grammar and proofing

  • Review the book 3-5 times for flow

  • Review the book 3-5 to ensure that it makes sense

  • Review and mark up the proof of the book

  • Edit the description of the book
